Amalio Madueño lives in Taos, New Mexico. Long associated with the Taos Poetry Circus and namesake of Mexican Bob's Poetry Camp, he has published widely in journals across the United States and Europe. Recent anthologies featuring his work include Venus in the Badlands (J. Macker, ed. Desert Shovel, Santa Fe 2006) The 315 Experiment (Dinsmore & Alley, eds., Vancouver 2006), Wandering Hermit Review (Seattle, 2006), Muse6 (L. Council ed. His latest chapbook is Cuyamungue, and his latest book of poems, Lost In The Chamiso, was published by Wild Embers Press ( 2006 Ashland, OR.) He performs his work regularly throughout New Mexico and the west - from Seattle & Walla Walla to San Diego, El Paso & Santa Fe -- in featured readings, seminars, television & radio, as well as on videos and CDs.
