Darlene Fife, born August 23, 1940. Received a B. S. in physics and an M. A. in English from Penn State Univeristy. Postgraduate study at University College Dublin.
From 1968-1974 she coedited NOLA Express with Robert Head. She has been published in the small press and has self published several chapbooks of poetry. Mesechabe Press in New Orleans in 2000 published her memoir Portraits from Memory: New Orleans in the Sixties. She also translates the modern Greek poets George Pavlopoulos and Maria Kardatou.
