Michael Hathaway was born in 1961 and raised in central Kansas. He works as curator of the Stafford County Museum. He published and edited Chiron Review literary magazine 1982-2005, and had more than 300 poems published in literary journals and anthologies. He also operates Kindred Spirit Press (since 1987) which is still in operation and works as USA distributor for French Connection Press and Van Gogh's Ear. He lives in St. John, Kansas with 38 cats.
